Ok, we admit that our medieval English here at 247playgames is not flawless. Fortunately, we don’t need to have swallowed a Shakespearian play in order to communicate that the folks over at Ubisoft have announced an expansive patch for Anno Online.
With this update, the developers plan on fixing numerous bugs that have been discovered since the strategic game has started its closed beta. Among many others, the following issues have been resolved: turning the settings on and off in rapid succession no longer makes multiple music tracks play simultaneously; ruby costs for items in the item producer only show in red when players can’t afford them; ships sail away again instead of suddenly disappearing.
The patch also introduces new, unique construction menu icons, new balancing for the upkeep costs, the influence area, and the production time of several buildings, and a new shop item called the Starter Package. This item costs 495 rubies and contains 160 wood, 20,000 coins, 2 meals, and one Virgin Mary shrine. The extensive patch also features the guild hall which players can purchase as soon as their population reaches one merchant. More impatient gamers can access the guild feature sooner than that by purchasing the guild hall from the shop for 375 rubies. Players will be able to invite friends to the guild and use a specific guild chat channel.
The patch launched today at 4 am EDT (1 am PDT).
